Our client, accessable provides services on the behalf of ACC and the Ministry of Health which include equipment, housing alterations and vehicle modifications.

A vacancy has arisen within the Professional Advisory Team, (Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists), for the position of Advisory Team Administrator .

The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive support function in this varied and interesting role. This will require providing office and training administration for the Professional Advisory team to efficiently and effectively deliver the equipment and modification services.

  • You will need to have the ability to see the big picture’ to support the team to achieve accurate and timely provision of the services;
  • but also an eye for detail’ related to documentation, information and data systems; and be accurate with tasks. A proactive, outgoing working style will work well within this team environment.

    As a member of the team, you will be accountable for :

  • providing coordination and support for Equipment Management Services (EMS) for the Ministry of Health
  • managing vehicle modification and service requests
  • providing coordination of the ACCESS clinic (wheelchair services)
  • supporting the EMS Advisory Team with projects and assist with organising and running workshop / education strategies
  • ensuring commitments are met within agreed costs, approvals and timeframes; accurate management, tracking, completion, recording and reporting.
  • Sills required are :

  • advanced Excel, Word and Outlook
  • great communication skills both verbal and written
  • initiative and process improvement focus
  • confidence in collating reports for managers
  • good numerical literacy an advantage
  • experience with training / event administration will be an advantage.
