The continued growth in our Professional Services area, sees us looking for an experienced Transition Manager to work in our national Transitions team.

What we’re looking for :
2-5 years comprehensive experience in the management of strategically important, high value, complex programmes of work in the ICT industry.
Hold an in depth end-to-end knowledge of Service Delivery to manage successful implementation of new solutions, or any Business Change initiatives
Working knowledge of IT Architecture, IT Design and integration, network architecture, Network technologies and Service Support
Proven, and successful delivery of large customer facing projects
Experience working with and in high performing teams to develop programmes of work and to communicate impacts effectively to Key Stakeholders
Negotiation experience and skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including strengths in influencing, conflict management, and negotiation
Experience in Preparation and Delivery of a Communication’s Plan
Experience in Preparation of a Training Strategy
Experience in Delivery of workshops to managers and to staff educating users about a change
Experience in managing te post go live support, to ensure a smooth transition to business as usual

What the role entails :
Develop and maintain the seamless transition of new or changed services into production, ensuring that they meet the standards and criteria for implementation into the production environment
Working with a range of internal IT Operational teams, to manage the onboarding and readiness of the IT Operational support teams
Manage relationships with all relevant IT stakeholders to communicate the progress with transition activities / deliverables
Completing gap analysis to build out service definitions, service topologies, and update associated support models and engagement channels
Managing the specified acceptance criteria for service acceptance, operational, release and service readiness review throughout the Transition
Manage the Transition budget to ensure the Transition is delivered on time and under budget
Manage a virtual, and at times remote teams to deliver the required transition activities
Facilitate and lead workshops and discussions with all levels of the IT organisation to complete service designs and producing related processes and documentation
Identifying and managing all service related risks, impact and issues to new and existing services throughout the life cycle of the project
Responsible for input into the vendor management process for creation of service schedules associated with new or amended services
