Plan, co-ordinate and control the Service Centre operations of the company dealership to achieve sales and profit within budgeted expense limits while maintaining a high level of service support to customers.

Support company dealership profit plans by consistently meeting service sales and gross profit objectives by coordinating and controlling the activities of subordinates in accordance with approved systems, procedures and policies.
Monitor & report on all areas of Service Department performance covering productivity, efficiency, sales & GP per technician, parts / labor ratio, sold vs.
available hours, WIP & department expenses.
Ensure maximum cost effective utilization of Service Centre facility by submitting cost estimates and quotations for major repair work, including estimates to insurance companies for high value accident repair claims
Attract, secure and maintain highly competent, well-trained staff by ensuring the application of sound human resources management practices in accordance with Company Policy, Legislative and Award requirements.
Protect Company assets while minimizing insurance premium cost and Worker's / Accident Compensation exposure by enforcing fire prevention, safety and good housekeeping procedures and practices in line with Company Policy, Award and Legislative requirements.
All day-to-day business functions in accordance to any relevant IVECO policy.
Authorise internal departmental documentation.
Diploma Business Management
HC or HR truck licence desirable however not essential
Trade background supplemented by extensive experience, training and further education in automotive field
Understanding of Pentana DMS
The ability to manage large teams and co-ordinate the smooth running of a business
Ability to motivate and coordinate the activities of skilled trade personnel
