    What?

    We have an exciting leadership opportunity and are looking for a Team Leader who will add value in this exciting position within our Tandem Travel team where no two days are the same, there's enough variety in this role to take your career sky high! The purpose of this role is to lead the Tandem Travel sales delivery team to provide world class sales and service and develop processes / productivity enhancements to ensure growth of business and achievement of sales targets.

    This role will support supercharging the New Zealand economy by providing leadership to a team of corporate travel consultants who deliver a professional andplete travel service to Tandem Travel customers.

    At Tandem we helppanies manage travel arrangements for their employees, this includes organising flights on all airlines and arranging transportation, visas and amodation in New Zealand and around the globe, whilst maximising value to the customer within their individualpany policies.

    The Team Leader role coaches, supports and motivates a team of consultants to provide service excellence throughout the entire business travel experience.

    Key deliverables of the role are to manage the day-to-day operation of the team with a focus on maximising revenue, delivering outstanding customer service and enabling a high performance culture.

    This is a rewarding people leadership role in one of the growth areas of the business which is undergoing exciting investment and transformation.

    As a member of the leadership team you will be responsible for continuously reviewing quality and development, to improve your team's capability and processes, as well as contributing your ideas and enthusiasm to supercharge Tandem's success.

    Essentials

  • You will have experience in leading and inspiring a team of people
  • Befortable with travel technology and have the confidence to build successful relationships internally and externally
  • You will be a flexible individual who's ready to embrace a very exciting challenge.
  • Nice to have

  • Having GDS or Qik knowledge as well as great Domestic, Shorthaul and Longhaul travel product knowledge is preferable.
  • Experience with agency mid-office systems would be advantageous.
