This is a permanent role, ideally based in the Southland region, that is part of the NZ Markets group which operates as the channel to our customers and customer voice.
LIC is seeking a sales professional to join its dynamic, solutions-focused team, which puts the customer at the centre of everything LIC does.
You'll be able to draw on significant resource while maintaining a good deal of freedom to provide solutions to customers on a case-by-case basis.
As the face of LIC on-farm, you'll display strong empathy toward farmers, complemented by a 'can-do 'attitude. Reporting to the Territory Manager, you'll be comfortable talking the language of the dairy farmer, and you'll understand the issues and challenges they face, both day-to-day, and long-term.
You'll be aware of the changing dairy industry and the continuous need for improvement to ensure sustainable and profitable farming.
You will be able to convey to farmers an understanding of opportunities that exist to create wealth through improvement made to cow performance.
As a sales professional, you'll have the necessary drive, ambition, and determination to meet or exceed sales targets.
