We are currently looking for a Sales Rep to join our Sales and Marketing team in a new role focusing on developing relationships and growing sales within the Group Home Builder customer segment in Auckland and Northland. About the role
Reporting to the National Key Account Manager, the purpose of the role is to support and execute the Firth Group Home Builder sales strategy, that supports the delivery of Firths broader strategic customer segment goals.
You will be responsible for delivering on a range of metrics including influencing both direct and indirect sales through multiple channels, winning specification and growing share of wallet of Firth’s total portfolio of concrete products.
Key to this will be maintaining a business partnership approach with the Group Home Builder customers to understand their business needs in order to develop new opportunities for Firth.
By building a strong relationships with the key influencers within the Group Home Builder Franchise office, you will be able to represent Firths portfolio at each level, advise on our product range and capabilities and assist in the identification of growth opportunities.
Whilst maintaining this strong customer approach you will also be able to utilise your business development skills and abilities to further develop our Group Home Builder sales strategy within your region as needed, and also report back on key market and customer insights as necessary. About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have extensive experience in a field sales environment, developing a territory that comprised of both new business development and account management.
Previous experience working with Group Home Builders would be great, but isn’t essential. You will need to be an confident communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, not afraid of a challenge and someone who enjoys working in a varied environment and working autonomously.
The role will require some travel on a monthly basis to Northland so you will need to have some flexibility but this shouldn’t be more than a couple of nights each month. The opportunity
