As part of our expansion and with significant growth plans well underway, we have established an Electronic Controls function and we have a new opportunity for an Electronics Controls Software Engineer.
The role will be responsible for defining, designing and developing the relevant software solutions for various Brushless DC Motor Control projects.
You'll also collaborate with our external customers gaining a deep understanding of current and future requirements for controls.
What do you bring to the role
It's absolutely essential that you are technically advanced in motor control software solutions preferably including sensorless approaches.
You'll be experienced in developing motor control algorithms and developing drive software systems.
You're a hands on type of person so you know how to roll up your sleeves and get on with performance testing and experiment design.
It goes without saying that your attention to detail is superb. You'll be programming our micro controllers, designing controls at both the motor control and appliance application levels, researching new sensorless control approaches and adapting and tuning for new motor and customer application requirements.
Additionally you'll be creating, building on and refining our development tools and methods.
Your communication skills are second to none, you're comfortable working in a fast paced environment and you are as meticulous as they come.
A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent is a requirement for this role.
