We are seeking a Systems Administrator based in our Port Chalmers head office. If you love working in IT and have good all-

round technical competence, great eye for detail, and enjoy dealing with data and integration then this role could be for you!

You’ll be responsible for effective technical administration across a portfolio of core software systems and databases, maintaining and promoting their effectiveness in meeting the needs of the business.

The successful applicant will have :

  • Related experience in IT in a business environment
  • Strong enterprise applications background, shipping or logistics would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL server and experience with database management.
  • Good understanding and experience with integration and information flow between electronic systems through various data interfaces.
  • Ability to write reports and structured queries to obtain data from systems.
  • Experience with ETL, managing datasets and analytical structures.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation
  • It would be advantageous (but not essential) if you have direct experience with any of the following : Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Shipping or Logistics systems.

    ETL, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS would be beneficial.
