Our ideal candidate will bring

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Passion to work with priority populations Māori, Pacific Island, pregnant women and parents of young children
  • Flexibility to work over two locations, Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre
  • Confidence with facilitating behavioural support programmes and presentations
  • An understanding of Tikanga Māori and the principals of the Treaty of Waitangi
  • Professional work ethic, highly organised, sound judgement and initiative, empathetic and compassion
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Completed or willingness to complete the Stop Smoking Practitioners Training Programme
