An Analytics Modeller in our Management Consulting team supports our delivery teams by providing statistical analysis in the following areas : Statistical demand forecasting / causal factor analysis Network / locational modelling Replenishment optimisation modellingThis is a challenging and fulfilling role, where you will be a key member of our client service teams, providing a breadth of specialised services to our Retail and Consumer Goods Clients.

Be Interested :

  • This role will use mathematical and analytical techniques to help organisations develop better services, products, business practices and systems that are practical and tangible for our clients.
  • The successful application will work with a diverse and exciting portfolio of clients in areas like demand forecasting, retail analytics, replenishment optimisation, inventory and network optimisation.

    Be Exceptional :

  • Collect, analyse and interpret data and use this to determine strategic and operational problems by consulting with appropriate employees
  • Use complex mathematical and statistical methods to identify and assess possible strategies then present the results in a way that is easily understood
  • Support the execution of KPMG analytics assets used on a range of projects
  • Undertake financial and operational analysis of behavioural and other data to create insights
  • Develop new and innovative models to inform analysis, decision-making and reporting
  • Have a collaborative mind set with a passion for innovating and creating new solutions in a team environment
  • Use your strong data analytics skills to develop creative and unique client solutions
  • Be interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning

  • Hold a Bachelors level degree in a subject that covers large amount of quantitative and analytical theory such as statistics, computer science, engineering, physics, economics and management science
  • Strong understanding of statistical forecasting theory (regression, exponential smoothing etc.)
  • Hold advanced excel modelling skills and experience in tools such as SAS, R, SQL, Qlik, Tableau and PowerPivot
  • Experience in functional or industry optimisation tools including at least one demand forecasting / statistical modelling tool
  • Demonstrate a methodical and logical approach to work
  • Very strong mathematical, data analysis, interrogation and IT skills
  • Have the ability to communicate complex data simply
