In your new role as an Account Manager you will have responsibility for delivering cleaning and sanitising solutions through high quality service to existing customers in Palmerston North area.
You will also be driving sales and business development opportunities for Ecolab’s products and services to customers within the dairy and food processing industries.
Key responsibilities will include :
Delivering the highest standards of service excellence to customers.
Achieving the territory budget and sales goals in a timely and efficient manner
Growing the territory through sales of the company’s products and services
Providing value to our customers through key projects at their sites. This will involve understanding the way the sites operates and concentrating on how Ecolab can reduce costs through Value Adding Programs.
Working very closely with our Engineering Team and our Technical team on Value adding projects. This will involve Continuous improvements for the site based around the Key K.P.I’s agreed upon.
Liaising between customers and internal departments to arrange pricing and invoicing, delivery, special instructions and any other issues to facilitate sales;
To be successful in this role you will have :
Extensive sales experience, preferably in value-added sales
A Tertiary qualification in science or a related discipline
A proven sales track record in a business to business selling role
Experience in dealing with large national and multi-national customers
Proven ability to negotiate and win new business at executive level
Some business development experience in fields such as dairy and processed food, or beverage and brewing sectors will be well regarded
Previous experience with quality control systems
Strong communication skills and relationship management skills
Excellent presentation, financial (P&L) and negotiation capabilities
A positive and enthusiastic approach to selling to exceed client expectations
A clean and valid driver’s license is a pre-requisite
