About the role :

Geneva Healthcare are currently searching for a Casual Clinical Coordinator to cover our nursing services in the Gisborne Region.

You will conduct nursing care for our clients with short or long term care, primarily those recovering from illness or injury, older adults or disability.

This role provides you with flexible work hours and the opportunity to choose when you want to work.

Your duties include :

  • On-site development of service plans, including household management, personal cares, manual handling, pressure areas
  • Risk assessment and management
  • Medical plans

  • Our key requirements are :

  • A Registered Nurse with current APC and NZ experience
  • Preferably up to five years New Zealand post-graduate experience including one in the community, primary health, rehabilitation, disability or aged care sector
  • Wound and catheter care experience
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven skills in health assessment, planning and goal setting
  • A commitment to quality
  • A full Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and the aged care / disability sector to maximise health outcomes and goal achievements for client’s and their families.
  • Confidence in managing IT applications and the ability to report regularly on services provided and outcomes achieved.
  • This role reports to the National Clinical Manager.
