Toi Te Ora Public Health has an opening for a Health Protection Officer. This is your chance to get involved in a varied interesting and rewarding range of work from investigating communicable diseases to working in our border health programme and ensuring the safety of our drinking water.
You will work with the public, supportive colleagues and local authorities all in a positive work environment.
Based in Whakatane, this full-time position covers the whole of Toi Te Ora’s Eastern Bay of Plenty district, as well as having some service-
wide portfolios. Although you will be the sole HPO in the Whakatane office, you will feel comfortable working independently and in a team and travel and work across the beautiful Bay of Plenty and Lakes regions.
