Description This position is responsible for sales growth in agreed market segments in New Zealand that is aligned with Asia Pacific and worldwide sales strategy. Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with business decision makers, influencers and other stakeholders that influence the purchase of the Company products (fluid control and fluid power products) in the Agri-
  • business, dairy, transportation, indoor and outdoor process markets; to achieve the territories sales and bookings target each financial year striving towards the business 5-year plan.

  • Develop understanding of each customer’s individual needs, preferences and motivations and build that understanding into the Company’s product and commercial offerings, for instance valves that are used in analytical and medical machines and / or customized solutions for analysis and instrumentation applications.
  • Reinforce Company’s leadership position in valves and customized solutions for each target segment.
  • Collaborate with Fluid & Motion Control Asia Pacific marketing and engineering teams to translate customers’ application needs into product requirements to seize application opportunities ensuring one message communicated to market throughout Australasia.
  • Provide input in identifying target customers and applications and reviewing commercial plans for targets to provide the necessary offering to the market.
  • Generate weekly sales call plan and sales call reports using the Company call reporting system.
  • Generate monthly customer activity reports including all key sales metrics for your responsible territory including actual sales, sales, forecast, new accounts and prospective business.
  • Weekly update sales territories’ quote portfolio using the Company quote reporting system.
  • Conduct product and solutions demonstrations / training with customers.
  • Requirements

  • Proven external sales commercial and technical experience in related industry.
  • Relevant formal engineering education with ability to understand, design and sell solutions profitably
  • Driver’s license.
