The Role :

An opportunity is available for a Shopper Manager to join our New Zealand the team.You will be joining a team of 2 and will be responsible for executing flawless shopper marketing activations and programs.

You will be work cross functionally with the wider business including the Australian business to ensure alignment.

Responsibilities include

  • Develop customer shopper marketing plan, incorporating excellent activation of brand events, retailer centric overlays and loyalty driving levers.
  • Execute flawlessly defined shopper marketing programs with Shopper Marketing Controller ensuring deliverables are met on time with the accounts.
  • Manage shopper marketing budget ensuring spend is maximised and allocated appropriately across categories and brands.
  • Optimise shopper marketing spend through ongoing evaluation and effective prioritisation across account base.
  • Develop customer specific proprietary shopper insights that demonstrate shopper marketing thought leadership and drive competitive advantage.
  • Inspire and build confidence in the value of shopper marketing with interfacing functions and customer contacts including broader commercial training on Shopper marketing 101.
  • The person :

    You will be a team player with a can do attitude with an ability to work independently. You have previous experience in Shopper Marketing and can work with cross-

    functional teams (internal and eternally) to deliver results. You can move from one task to another as well as juggle several conflicting priories at once.

    Your flexibility and resilience is pivotal to your success in the role.

    About you :

  • Commercial experience with a preference in shopper / brand marketing, retail activation or customer management.
  • A minimum of a relevant degree.
  • Previous experience in shopper, consumer including digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to execute flawlessly with strong time and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop insight led retailer marketing plans that drive competitive advantage.
  • Preferably experience of working directly with customers to deliver business plan.
  • Experience of managing agencies on campaigns / creative development including digital.
  • Good understanding of P&L and impact of shopper spend on channel profitability with thorough ROI process understanding.
  • Experience of managing or being part of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to lead initiatives.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
